For context on how strictly this is enforced:
- April 2021 — Of all videos removed from TikTok, 14% were taken down under the nudity and sexually explicit content policy. Of those, 90% came down within 24 hours, 78.5% at zero views, and 90.3% before anyone reported them.
- October 2023 — Adult content accounted for 33.3% of 176 million removed videos.
- Organic reach: sexual content is prohibited
- Paid reach: sexual content is prohibited
